Billing & Subscription

Your subscription reference number

Every Elite subscription is assigned a unique Subscription Reference Number in the format:

NIT-ELITE-YYYYMMDD-XXXX

This number is displayed on your Dashboard → Organisation → Billing page and included in your subscription confirmation email. Quote it when contacting support.

Billing cycle

  • Monthly: Billed on the same date each month.
  • Yearly: Billed once per year — saves approximately 10% compared to monthly.

To change your billing cycle, go to Dashboard → Organisation → Billing → Change Billing Cycle. Changes take effect at the next renewal date.

Cancelling your subscription

  1. Go to Dashboard → Organisation → Billing → Cancel Subscription.
  2. Read the impact summary (what your notaries lose access to, when).
  3. Confirm cancellation.

Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Your notaries retain their Notarise It© accounts and move to the Access plan when Elite lapses.

WARNING

Cancellation removes all organisation management features immediately at the end of the billing period. Export your reports and audit trail before cancelling.

Closing your organisation

Closing an organisation is a formal wind-down process, separate from simply cancelling your subscription.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Organisation → Settings → Close Organisation.
  2. The platform shows a pre-check blockers list — all outstanding sessions and pending actions must be resolved before closure can proceed.
  3. Choose a closure date.
  4. All current members are notified by email and given the option to transition to independent accounts.
  5. Members have until the closure date to respond. Reminders are sent at 7 days and 48 hours before the deadline.
  6. On the closure date, the organisation is wound down: members are offboarded, the subscription is cancelled, and the organisation record is anonymised.

The closure process cannot be initiated if there are active sessions in progress. All sessions must be completed or cancelled first.
