Creating an Organisation

Requirements

  • You must have an active Notarise It© account (client or notary)
  • An Elite subscription is required to activate an organisation

Step 1 — Subscribe to Elite

  1. Go to Account → Billing.
  2. Select the Elite plan.
  3. Choose monthly or yearly billing (yearly saves ~10%).
  4. Complete payment via Paystack.

Step 2 — Create your organisation

After subscribing:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Organisation → Create Organisation.
  2. Fill in:
    • Organisation name
    • Description (shown on member profiles)
    • Address
    • Website (optional)
    • Contact email
  3. Upload your organisation logo (JPEG or PNG).
  4. Click Create Organisation.

Step 3 — Invite your first notaries

Step 4 — Register your payout account

Go to Dashboard → Organisation → Bank Details and register the bank account where all organisation earnings should be paid.

Step 5 — Upload shared artefacts

Upload organisation-wide seals, badge overlays, or templates under Dashboard → Organisation → Artefacts. These become available to all notary members during their sessions.

Step 6 — Configure document type overrides (optional)

If your organisation handles a specific subset of document types, or you want to set standard fees across your team:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Organisation → Document Types.
  2. Disable types your notaries don't handle.
  3. Set organisation-level fees (these apply on top of the platform minimum; individual notaries can set their own fees above the org level).

Billing note: Pro subscription fairness

When a notary with an active Pro subscription joins your Elite organisation, their personal Pro subscription is automatically paused — they will not be billed for both simultaneously. Pro features are covered by your Elite organisation subscription for the duration of their membership. Their personal Pro subscription resumes when they leave the organisation.
