Help Bot

Notarise It© includes two AI-powered assistants to help you get answers quickly — without waiting for support.


Public assistant (before you log in)

A virtual assistant is available on the homepage and the Find a Notary page, visible to anyone — no account required. Look for the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the page.

Use it to ask questions like:

  • "How does online notarisation work?"
  • "Is RON legal in Nigeria?"
  • "How much does a session cost?"
  • "What documents can be notarised?"
  • "How do I verify a certificate?"

The public assistant answers general questions about the platform and the process. It does not have access to your account, bookings, or documents.


Help Bot (inside your dashboard)

Once you are logged in, a Help Bot is available on every page of your dashboard. Look for the blue ? button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Click it to open a slide-over panel. The panel stays out of the way — you can keep working on the page while the bot is open.

What the Help Bot knows

The Help Bot is trained on the Notarise It© user guide and the Notary Public Act 2023. It can answer:

  • "How do I" questions — step-by-step guidance on any platform feature
  • "Where is" questions — helping you find buttons, settings, or pages
  • "What does X mean" questions — plain-language explanations of platform terms and statuses

It knows you are a client, so answers are tailored to your workflow — booking, signing, certificates, KYC, and account settings.

Page-aware suggestions

When you open the Help Bot on a specific page, it shows suggested questions relevant to where you are. For example:

Click any suggestion to send it immediately — no typing required.

What the Help Bot does not do

  • It does not access your actual sessions, documents, payments, or account data
  • It does not provide legal advice or rule on whether a specific document is valid
  • It cannot raise a support ticket or contact the Notarise It© team on your behalf

Clearing the conversation

Tap the reset icon (↺) in the top-right corner of the panel to clear the conversation and start fresh. The conversation resets automatically when you reload the page.


Can't find an answer?

If the Help Bot cannot answer your question, it will direct you to [email protected]. You can also use the Report an Issue link at the bottom of the sidebar at any time.
