Document Types

The platform catalogue

Notarise It© provides a catalogue of 80 document types across 11 categories. These are pre-seeded with the platform's recommended pricing model (flat or per page) and a statutory minimum fee of ₦5,000 per document.

All document types are active on your profile by default (opt-out model). You only need to take action if you want to remove types you don't handle or adjust your fees.

Configuring your document types

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Document Types & Fees.

Disabling a document type

If you do not handle a particular type:

  1. Find the document type in the list.
  2. Toggle it Off.

Disabled types do not appear in your profile or in the booking form for your clients.

Setting a custom fee

To set your own fee for a type (must be at or above ₦5,000):

  1. Find the document type.
  2. Click Edit Fee.
  3. Enter your fee and select the pricing model (flat or per page).
  4. Click Save.

Changes take effect immediately for new bookings.

Elite organisations

If you are a member of an Elite organisation, your org admin may have set organisation-level overrides for certain document types. Your personal settings apply on top of the org-level settings.

How document type selection works at booking

When a client books a session with you, they:

  1. Upload each document.
  2. Select the document type from your active catalogue.
  3. Enter the page count (for per-page types).
  4. See the fee update live before confirming.

The booking cannot be submitted without a document type assigned to each document.
