Your Performance
My Performance in the sidebar, under PRACTICE, shows your own figures and the reviews clients have left you.
Only you can see this page. There is no version of it an organisation admin, another notary, or a client can open.
Why this page exists
Your average rating is the second-largest influence on where you appear in search results, after your subscription plan. Until now you could see the number but not a single one of the reviews behind it. Being ranked by feedback you are not allowed to read is a poor deal, and it makes your position feel arbitrary rather than earned.
What you will see
Sessions
| Figure | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Booked | Appointments booked with you in the period |
| Completed | Sessions you saw through to completion |
| Completion rate | Completed, as a percentage — see below |
| Cancelled by client | Cancellations the client initiated |
| Cancelled by you | Cancellations you initiated |
| Refused for cause | Sessions you ended for a professional reason |
Your completion rate excludes cancellations by the client and sessions you refused for cause. You are not marked down for a client changing their mind, and you are not marked down for declining a document you should decline. Refusing a forged instrument is the act the whole system depends on you being willing to perform; penalising it in a figure would take back what the review fee is there to give.
Cancellations you initiate do count. That is the counterweight — excluding what you did not choose must not become excusing everything.
Documents
How many documents you notarised, and how many you refused. A refusal is counted once per document on your final decision for it: if you refuse a document and then withdraw the refusal, it is not counted.
Earnings
Gross fees, the platform commission, and your net — split into what has been paid out, what is awaiting payout, and what is held.
Money is held when you have no payout account on file. Held payouts are forfeited after 14 days, so if you see a held amount, add a payout account in your settings.
What clients said
Your average star rating and every written review.
The rating counts only the score clients gave you — not their rating of the video call or of the platform. A poor connection or a slow dashboard does not move your stars. This is the same average shown on your public profile, computed the same way, so the two cannot disagree.
Ratings and reviews are for all time. They do not narrow to the date range above; a rating belongs to your record rather than to a quarter.
Reviewers appear as a first name and a last initial — "Ada O." That is enough for you to place the session and answer a criticism fairly. It is deliberately not enough to look someone up.
Choosing a period
Set a start and end date at the top of the page. The figures cover appointments scheduled in that period, which is the date you would count by if you were working it out by hand.
Downloading your figures
Pro and above
Downloading is on the Pro plan and above. Reading these figures is available on every plan.
The Download CSV button gives you a single-row spreadsheet of the period — session counts, document counts, earnings and ratings, with money in naira. It is the row you paste into your own records or hand to an accountant.
On the Access plan the button is visible but disabled, so you can see what the plan would add. Nothing on the page itself is withheld from you: these are your own professional figures, and Reg 14(1) already requires you to keep a record of the same activity.
What this page will not do
It does not score you. There is no grade, index or percentile anywhere on it. Every figure is a count or an average of something you did, traceable to sessions you can go and look at. A composite score would become the number to optimise for and would suggest a precision the underlying data does not support.
It does not compare you to other notaries. Rule 39(2) of the Rules of Professional Conduct prohibits claims about the size or success of a practice. A line telling you where you rank would hand you a comparison to repeat, which is the thing the rule forbids.
How these figures affect your search position
Your completion rate and whether you have completed a session in the last 90 days both influence where you appear in client search results — but only within your plan. Your plan decides which group you are in; these decide where you sit inside it. No notary is pushed out of the placement their plan gives them, whatever their record.
Neither client cancellations nor refusals for cause count against you, in the ranking or in the rate. The two figures are computed by the same code, so what you read here is exactly what search uses.
Ratings and session counts still count too, and a notary with no completed sessions yet is treated as unranked rather than as the bottom of the field.
