Help Bot

Notarise It© includes two AI-powered assistants — a public assistant for visitors, and an in-dashboard Help Bot for registered users.


Public assistant (homepage)

A virtual assistant is available on the homepage and the Find a Notary page for anyone to use before logging in. It answers general questions about how the platform works, RON legality in Nigeria, pricing, and the notarisation process.


Help Bot (inside your dashboard)

Once logged in, a Help Bot is available on every page of your dashboard. Look for the blue ? button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Click it to open a slide-over panel — it floats over the page without interrupting your work.

What the Help Bot knows

The Help Bot is trained on the Notarise It© user guide and the Notary Public Act 2023. It can answer:

  • "How do I" questions — step-by-step guidance on any feature
  • "Where is" questions — locating settings, buttons, or pages
  • "What does X mean" questions — definitions of platform terms and statuses

Because you are logged in as a notary, the Help Bot prioritises answers relevant to your workflow:

  • Managing and conducting sessions
  • Placing signing fields and applying your digital seal
  • Signature image library
  • AI document review
  • Setting availability and fees
  • Accepting document types
  • In-session chat and recording
  • Witnesses
  • Journal entries
  • Payouts and earnings
  • Subscription plans and Pro features

Page-aware suggestions

When you open the Help Bot, it shows suggested questions based on the page you are currently on. For example:

Click any suggestion to send it immediately.

What the Help Bot does not do

  • It does not access your actual sessions, documents, client data, or payout records
  • It does not provide legal advice or validate whether a specific document type is notarisable
  • It cannot raise a support ticket or contact the Notarise It© team on your behalf

Clearing the conversation

Tap the reset icon (↺) in the top-right corner of the panel to clear the conversation and start fresh. The conversation resets automatically on page reload.


Pro tip

Open the Help Bot while you are mid-session if you need a quick reminder on a step — the panel does not interrupt the session view.

Can't find an answer?

If the Help Bot cannot answer your question, it will direct you to [email protected]. You can also use Report an Issue in the sidebar at any time.
